Happy New Year from Project Silvershine!

{18 December, 2008}   Xmas

We have all finished our exams now, and can start to enjoy the Christmas holidays. As I mentioned before, our holiday is filled with buffertime, so we still have to do a lot of work. There probably wont be any blog posts over xmas, so we’ll be back in January!

Meanwhile, enjoy this festive wallpaper:

{3 October, 2008}   Timeplan

Our plans for how we are going to work and devide our tasks are now set.
And we have realized that we dont have very much time to spare.
so lets all hope we work fast and well so that we get some days off.

We promised something to look at, sadly we dont have anything prepared.
But! so that we dont let our fans down, we promise not one, but two screenshots next week.

{16 September, 2008}   a meeting with the bosses

We had a meeting with our teachers today, about the project. There weren’t quite satisfied with our project document, so we had to improve some of the parts.
Next week we will hopefully be finished with our milestone plan.

{10 September, 2008}   Design Document

It appears that we were not quite finished with the Product Document after all…
However, we have worked a lot on it recently. We have used some new tools and methods, Socratic Dialog* and Dia to mention a few.

We have also defined our roles and jobs more accurately, and have made full character descriptions and relationships. We have also done a little more work on concept art, 3D models, and storyboard.

*: Unfortunately we could only find a norwegian wikipedia site about this topic.

{30 August, 2008}   The Start

Hey and welcome back, we have all had a great summer here at DCS, and we are all ready to start working on Project Silvershine.
The other day we had a meeting at school to get us started and ready for the year to come.
On Monday we will start working all out on our production, as a little teaser I can tell you what this blog will be used for.

This blog will mainly be used as a means to document our progress throughout the year, in addition to creating hype and interest in our upcoming game. We will post information in the form of text, screen shots and the occasional video.
